Municipal Planning Commission

The Town of Gibbons has established a Municipal Planning Commission to review and issue decisions on development permit applications for discretionary uses, variances of more than 10 percent of a measurable standard, or any application for a permitted use under the Land Use Bylaw that does not otherwise comply with the requirements and regulations.

 The MPC will meet the fourth Wednesday of each month, as required, prior to the Regular Council Meeting. Additional meetings may be scheduled as required. Municipal Planning Commission meetings are open to the public.

Notice of Development Approvals

The Public Notices listed here are related to Developments Permits that have had decisions rendered by the Municipal Planning Commission.  These will be posted for the entire 21 day statutory appeal period.  It is important to note that the decision is not final until the appeal period expires and may be appealed to the relevant appeal board.
