Gibbons Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) is a cost sharing partnership between the Province of Alberta and the Town of Gibbons. Funding is used to support and develop locally driven preventative social service initiatives. FCSS supports and promotes prevention and intervention programs to help strengthen families and the community.
Programs are developed to help individuals adopt healthy lifestyles that will improve the quality of life and build the capacity of the community to support itself. FCSS programs depend on community resources, often involving volunteers and local resources in the delivery of services.
To better understand the philosophy behind FCSS visit the Family and Community Support Services Association.
Gibbons FCSS provides a variety of programs for all stages of life. For more information please contact the FCSS Coordinator, Laura Schmidt at 780.923.2374 or via email.
