Council Meetings
The Council of the Town of Gibbons meets on the second Wednesday and fourth Wednesday (unless otherwise advertised) of each month in Council chambers of the Municipal Office located at 4807-50 Avenue. Meeting start times can be found on our calendar. Council meetings are open to the public except during "closed session".
Council meetings are livestreamed through the Town of Gibbons YouTube channel and can be accessed here.
Requests to appear before Council must be made in writing two weeks before the Council Meeting and must include all relevant documents. All requests are reviewed by the CAO's office prior to appointment confirmation. Confirmation will be made on the Friday prior to the Wednesday meeting.
Agendas
Every Council meeting follows a predetermined agenda. This agenda is confirmed by the Monday prior to the meeting date.
Minutes
Minutes are drafted and placed on the agenda of the next regularly scheduled Council meeting for approval by Council. Once approved, the minutes are posted below. Minutes from previous years are located in the Municipal Office.
