What We Do

Community Services is dedicated to serving the citizens of Gibbons in planning and facilitating quality services including recreation, culture, and Family and Community Support Services. Community Services also serves the Community of Gibbons with facilitation of parks, open spaces, and facilities.

The Community Services Department is a leader in the provision and facilitation of recreation, facilities, culture, parks services and opportunities. Through responsible resource management, excellence in programming and community partnerships, the department strives to enrich the quality of life for all residents by promoting healthy lifestyle choices, showcasing Gibbons rich cultural heritage, and offering a variety of high quality recreation and arts experiences.
