Residential & Commercial Development

Presently, the Town has approximately 5 1/4 sections or 800 acres owned by developers; Strata Developments, Landrex Developers Inc., and Homestead Developments for residential development. Strata Developments is just breaking ground on a 21 lot cul-de-sac subdivision just off Lunnon Drive at 50th Street. Lots should be available for purchase in the spring of 2012. 

Riverside Point Ltd has recently completed a luxury 33 unit, 3 storey condo unit in Down Town Gibbons, overlooking the Sturgeon River Valley. For more information on this adult condo call 780-445-4658.
In regards to commercial and multi-family development, J&R Ventures is looking at developing about 15,000 square feet of commercial property on Main Street across from the Gibbons Town office. In addition there are a few lots and undeveloped parcels East of Highway 28A held by Surerus Pipeline and Triple 5 for light industrial and highway commercial development.

There is also land available for commercial development in Down Town Gibbons between the rail line and 51 street. Much of the rail way line land north of Main Street is held by the Town.
