Sturgeon County Peace Officers are regulated in Part by the Solicitor General Policies and Procedures and are obligated to a high standard of professionalism.
Part of the duties is to investigate Bylaw complaints, to do this task proper documentation is required.
Written complaints require the name of the complaintant, addresses, nature of the complaint, any information of a possible subject, all dates and times. The most important part is the signature of the complainant, without a signature the complainant is not valid.
Peace Officers cannot accept anything other than a signed complaint by the complainant to start an investigative action.
For your conveinence we have attached a Town of Gibbons Complaint form. These forms may be printed, filled out and SIGNED, then faxed (780-923-3691), emailed (Bylaw Enforcement) or dropped off at the Town Office (4807 - 50 Street).

The volunteer fire department provides excellent fire protection and emergency response to the residents in Gibbons and surrounding area. The Fire Department operate two fire trucks, each equipped with a 625 G.P.M. pumper and an Emergency Rescue Unit which contains the Jaws of Life.

Designed to be the eyes and ears of the community, this program empowers the community to play an active role in policing. Members are hooked into the auto dialer system, which connects them to information regarding crime and disaster from the R.C.M.P. A membership fee of $15.00 per household will entitle you to the benefits of being involved with this worthwhile program. Applications may be picked up at the Town Office or at the R.C.M.P. Office in Morinville.
