BiPed Locomotors of Gibbons - Jock  923-2101

Promotes, encourages and enjoys the sport of volksmarching (walking) internationally. Events take place throughout Alberta.

Caviar Players Drama Society - Denise  942-3117

A non-profit volunteer group involved in bringing professional entertainment to Gibbons. The entertainment is full of variety, laughter and enjoyment for the whole family.

Gibbons 4-H Light Horse Club - Cheryl  923-3415

A youth group aimed at building skills in horsemanship, leadership and self-esteem, through participation in clinics, and public-speaking events, as well as participation in horse shows at various levels.

Gibbons 4-H SEW and SOS - Leona  921-2140

A program for boys and girls ages 10 to 21, focusing on activities with clothing, crafts and food. This program helps youth achieve to a maximum level mentally, physically, spiritually and morally through creativity in leisure.

Gibbons Girl Guides of Canada - 

The Aim of the Girl Guides of Canada is to help girls and young women become responsible citizens, give leadership and service to the community.

The Seniors group provides a friendly and interesting atmosphere for senior citizens and promotes recreational and physical activities designed for seniors. Organizes very interesting trips throughout Alberta for the group.

Gibbons Teen Centre - Community Services 923 - 3331

The Teen Centre meets Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Lions Den for socialization and activities.  Pool, ping pong,arcade, super nintendo and "hanging out" are just some of the activities that take place. Youth aged 12 to 18 are welcome!

M.D. of Sturgeon #634 Adult Division - St. John's Ambulance     452-6161

Provides first aid, C.P.R. and family healthcare training to the community in an attempt to preserve life, prevent further injuries and promote recovery of injured people.

M.D. of Sturgeon #634 Cadet Division - Ron  921-2038

Provides first aid training to its members and offers their knowledge and talents in the community.

An association of those who have served or are serving in her majesty's armed forces or any auxiliary force and of others who support the purpose and objects of the legion. The association shall be democratic and non-sectarian, and shall not be affiliated to or connected directly or indirectly with any political party or organization.

Sturgeon Ladies Fastball League - Need a night out?  Enjoy Spending time outdoors?  Join us, our Ladies League is competitive, exciting, well organized and fun!  We are an Adult Ladies Fastball League.  The season starts in May and ends at the end of June.  We are always looking for more teams to join.  All those interested are welcome to our start-up meeting, Monday, March 2, 2009.  For more information/location, please call Colleen at 780-961-2237.  You may also check out our website at www.sturgeonladiesfastball.com.

Gibbons residents have the opportunity to enjoy numerous park areas. Surrounding the Arena/Curling Rink complex in Jack Hogg Sports Grounds are 10 acres of ball diamonds and soccer fields. We have four tennis courts located in Poplar Park. Playground equipment is located in Williams Park, Brumfit Park, Center Park, Poplar Park, in both school ground areas and Echo Glen Park. Residents enjoy beautiful park areas, such as Oliver Park and Echo Glen, with it’s walking trails and fish pond.
